Welcome to Sandor — a town carved from dust, blood, and ambition.
From its humble beginnings as a rugged frontier settlement during the Old West, through the industrial rumble of the railroad’s arrival, to the neon-lit alleyways of a cyber-tech metropolis in the late 22nd century, Sandor endures. It grows, fractures, and transforms — but one thing remains constant: the unending struggle between power and justice, light and darkness.
At the heart of Grunge City are three bloodlines that shape its destiny across centuries:
The Ashtons, a grunge city world of fierce and resilient women determined to protect their home and heritage through diplomacy, grit, and quiet defiance.
The Armstrongs, generations of lawmen, peacekeepers, and warriors who uphold order even as justice shifts with the times.
The Bloodthorns, aristocratic and immortal, shadowy European vampires who manipulate Sandor’s rise for their own ancient agenda.
Each era unveils a new corporate menace — ruthless institutions cloaked in innovation, politics, or bio-tech — all seeking to dominate Sandor’s people and resources.
As technology evolves and empires rise and fall, the battle for Sandor’s soul wages on.
Grunge City World is a sprawling, genre-bending saga where family, grunge city world, and resistance converge — from dusty revolvers to neural implants, from saloon standoffs to rooftop drone chases. The past haunts the future, and the future rewrites the past.

Ora Ashton
Elder Matriarch. Deeply spiritual and traditional; represents the last link to the “old ways” of the land.
Olivia Ashton
Matriarch of the Ashton Ranch. Widowed but unyielding, she anchors her family through cycles of loss, land wars, and strange happenings. In Frontier grunge city world, she founds the Ashton grunge city world Commodities Group, stepping away from direct ranch leadership.
Orallia Ashton
The eldest daughter. Intellectual and idealistic. Recently returned from university, caught between progress and tradition. She takes over the ranch as her mother shifts focus to broader business ventures
Christina Ashton
The middle child, blonde like her deceased father. Practical, sharp, with unspoken ambitions beyond ranch life—foreshadowing her future empire-building path. Rebellious and self-directed, she often seeks to break free from familial expectations.
Opal Ashton
The youngest. Young, artistic, and passionate. Emotionally driven and sensitive to the supernatural; she represents the most spiritually attuned member of the Ashton line.
Elias Armstrong
Sandor’s sheriff. Haunted by moral choices and past love. Embodies grounded justice while navigating growing supernatural threats.
Kanati
Warrior-scholar and tracker. Brings indigenous mythos to bear on rising supernatural tensions.
Cornelius Harriman
Powerful railroad tycoon. Publicly advocates for Sandor’s prosperity, but secretly manipulates town affairs to further his own economic and political aspirations. Note: In the far future, he becomes "The Conductor," a cryptic figure within the Underground, preserved by the Chessmaster. His tales of old Sandor add eerie depth to the future timeline.
Theodore Kendrick
Local land baron with long-term designs on absorbing Sandor’s territory into his sprawling empire. Uses road agents and hired hands to provoke conflict, especially targeting the Ashton Ranch.
Abram Thorne
Head of the Sandor Town Guard, Gruff, skeptical, practical to a fault. Initially dismisses the vampire rumors as superstition. Slowly drawn into the truth as evidence becomes undeniable. Once loyal to Edwin Bloodthorn for funding the guard, but becomes torn between duty and self-preservation.
Standing Bear
Spiritual leader and protector of sacred traditions. Advisor to Kanati and the Ashtons.
Lord Edwin Bloodthorn
Charismatic aristocrat with vampiric origins. His motivations in Sandor blur the line between civic generosity and occult expansion.
Lady Elizabeth Armstrong-Bloodthorn
Edwin’s vampiric consort. Formerly of high standing, now caught between her immortal role and hints of her past life. (No relation to Elias Armstrong—name coincidence only.)
Angelina Bloodthorn
The elder of two twins born to Lord Edwin Bloodthorn and Lady Elizabeth Armstrong-Bloodthorn and heir apparent to the Bloodthorn grunge city world. Dark-haired, poised, loyal to Edwin. She embraces the Bloodthorn grunge city world, aiming to expand their influence.
Shay-Len Bloodthorn
The younger of the two twins. Blonde, conflicted, often questioning her lineage. Could possess unique, latent blood magic—possibly a bridge between worlds.
Dakota Lindsay
Young chambermaid turned unexpected observer. Unwittingly uncovers truths about Bloodthorn and the Portside underbelly
Doctor Franklin Chricton
Rational, driven, and secretly scarred by past losses. Blends science with open-minded curiosity about the arcane. His journals become critical grunge city world items in future eras.
Magistrate Clara Bellwright
Town council liaison. Ambitious, sharp-tongued, pragmatic politician, she balances her own ambitions with growing fear of Edwin Bloodthorn. Hints at knowing more about the foreign origins of Bloodthorn’s wealth than she lets on.
Sister Maelys
Quiet, unsettling, cryptically spiritual keeper of the defunct chapel ruins giving warnings in strange riddles. Claims “the stone remembers blood.” May have insight into Elizabeth Armstrong-Bloodthorn's heritage

The Town of Sandor
A once-quiet frontier town now expanding rapidly due to rail development, trade routes, and political intrigue.
The Town Core
The civic and economic center of Sandor. Includes the Sheriff's Office, General Store, Bank, and Town Hall. This is where lawmen like Elias Armstrong and figures like Dr.Franklin Crichton are often seen.
The Port Lands
Eastern end of town, home to the Sandor Harbour. Once a modest trade post, it has grown into a hive of activity thanks to new shipping routes and the arrival of the Portside Syndicate. The area is bustling by day, shadowed and dangerous by night.
The Outskirts and Hinterlands
Agricultural lands, homesteads, and ranches that stretch into untamed frontier. Home to the Ashton Ranch and scattered indigenous territories. Also the site of Standing Bear and Kanati's deeper, more spiritual connection to the land.
The Ashton Ranch
Owned by Olivia Ashton and home to the Ashton women. Located on the southwestern outskirts, the ranch is a multigenerational homestead symbolizing grunge city world, resilience, and healing.
The Bloodthorn Estate
A grand, gothic-style manor built by Lord Edwin Bloodthorn on the eastern bluff overlooking Sandor Harbour. The mansion's lavish fascade hides cryptic hallways, sealed chambers, and a long European bloodline. It's whispered to contain catacombs and secret archives. The home is shared with his daughters, Angelina and Shay-Len, and his wife and consort Lady Elizabeth Armstrong-Bloodthorn.
The Crichton Observatory
A secluded watchtower structure built on a ridge just north of Sandor. Dr. Franklin Crichton uses it as both a laboratory and a sanctuary, filled with ancient tomes, celestial charts, and arcane instruments. Some believe the Observatory was built on land that holds older secrets.
Portside Syndicate Headquarters
Also known as The Warehouse. An unassuming storage warehouse near the docks. On the outside, it blends in with the trade-focused architecture of the port. Inside, it is the beating heart of the Portside Syndicate, run by a shadowy council of smugglers, mercenaries, and political fixers. It is said to connect to a hidden network of underground tunnels used for movement, smuggling, and escape.
The Chapel Ruins
An abandoned colonial-era chapel located deep in the forest northeast of town. Its rotting pews and desecrated altar have long been forgotten, but whispers of strange rites and occult symbols suggest it once served a darker purpose. Dr. Crichton suspects it is linked to Bloodthorn's ancient lineage.
The Hidden Grove
A sacred site tied to indigenous myth and the spiritual practice of Kanati and Standing Bear. The Grove sits at the edge of memory and dream, visible only to those who seek it with clear purpose. It holds visions, ancestral whispers, and sometimes warnings.
The Cavern Saloon
Sandor's oldest watering hole, built inside a natural gulch on it's main street. Neutral ground where ranch-hands, rail workers, and drifters mingle. Its public brawls often foreshadow larger conflicts.
Town Hall and Sheriff's Office
Civic heart of Sandor and the seat of the fragile Town Council and base of lawman Elias Armstrong.
